Hello,

The video goes through my experience with a range hood from AKDY but not this exact model. I think the info in the video applies to most of the AKDY ranges (I think this is Proline and other private labeled sellers as well) so hope it is useful to you. The range hood does look decent for the price but the company does have quality control issues. I hope the unit lasts after going through the work of getting multiple units, fixing the one new one and installing it. The install went easy after doing some prep work and I did find a really nice solution for the ductless option (search on this "ProAire Ductless Recirculating Kit for Compass Series Wall Mount Range Hoods").
