I bought this one to replace a well-worn Black & Decker countertop oven that had given many years of fine service. This one provides all of the quality of the B&D and more. It's very well designed and constructed, the controls easy to use, the bright blue digital display is easy to see and tells you what you want to know, and the shelving options are very convenient. You can even get a 12-inch round pizza pan inside with room to spare.

The Cuisinart comes with a reversible shelf, a rectangular baking pan, a broiler rack (fits in the pan), and a removable tray at the bottom for catching whatever escapes from the pan or rack. Makes cleanup, when needed, very easy.

The oven has a wide heat range, 150-450 degrees F, allowing for anything from gentle warming to serious roasting. We always use the convection mode except for broiling, and the results with everything tried so far have been excellent. The timer lets you know when the operating temperature has been reached and the cooking time is done.

The digital control panel may seem a little confusing at first, despite the clear labeling. Just keep the one-page Quick Start Guide handy until you get it memorized.
