I admire that the inventor spent so much effort in coming up with this new way to brew coffee. I love my cup o' joe in the morning and am very picky when it comes to taste. I have a Technivorm Moccamaster AND a Bonavita so I feel I'm qualified to express an opinion as to which one makes the best tasting coffee. After using the iCoffee twice now, I still have to give the nod to best tasting coffee to the Bonavita!! For me, there is too much sediment in the iCoffee since it uses the built in metal filter. It's also very messy to clean the basket after brewing. Don't get me wrong, the coffee is good but I'm not sure this "new way" of brewing is that much better than a great drip coffeemaker and it does seem to take a long time to complete the task.
