Mostly due to my cat's dander, dust and occasional odors (like burning something in the kitchen or fireplace); I had a Holmes HAP716-U True HEPA 3 Speed Tower Allergen Remover. It was convenient and had a thin washable piece of foam, but expensive filter replacements. I used to actually vacuum out the filters to make them last. Then I obtained the Winix WAC9300 (Medium Room) Ultimate Pet True HEPA Air Cleaner with PlasmaWave Technology, which is an amazing is an amazing machine. I used it in my master bedroom and it has worked fine for almost two years.

When the COWAY arrived, I immediately switched that into my master bedroom and placed the Winix in the office where the kitty litter box stays. I leave the Winix up to the nasty fine particle kitty litter particles. The COWAY is now my bedroom filter and it works just as well if not better.

The Coway looks fantastic with a sleek black mirror effect and blue lights that are easily seen in the light or dark. They operate the power, the speed (four), the Ionizer indicator, the Timer indicator (1, 4 and 8 hours), the Filter reset Indicator and the Filter reset button.

As seen in the video, there is a Pre-Filter that catches large dust, mold, human hair, pet hair, and more with an antibacterial material.

The Odor Filter has a granular active carbon Odor Filter, which is great at trapping odors and harmful gases to create a natural clean smell.

The HEPA filter is a high composite filter the essentially removes all fine dust, smoke, molds and other organic material with an antibacterial function. No more germs or mold!
