CleanAir Industrial Ozone Generator 3,500mg (3.5G) Air Deodorizer Ionizer Sterilizer, with 120 Minute Timer and NO Hold Option Review

I purchased this ozone machine after trying EVERYTHING ELSE (Carpet Powders, Carpet Cleaning Companies, DE-Odorizers, Candles, Air Ionizers) to rid my apartment of the previous tenants dog odors.

This little machine was able to get rid of the wet dog and urine smells embeded in the carpet.
It's incredible. I was getting ready to see an attorney and break the lease.
Thank You AMAZON for advertizing and offering this product. It's fantastic.

KitchenAid Candy-Red Stand Mixer KSM7586PCA , 7 qt. Review

i purchased this mixer about a year ago when it first came out. the mixer is very well built, and i really like the bowl lift feature. i work in a kitchen, and have been around hobart mixers large and small. im more used to using the hobarts than the kitchenaids, so let me give you a little comparison with the 12 quart we have at work.

the kitchenaid is kind of loud...not terribly loud, and certainly quieter than all the other kitchenaid mixers on the market. still slightly on the loud side though. not a problem for me though.

this mixer will mix large amounts of dough for extended periods of time. i've kneaded quadruple batches for 10+ minutes and the kitchenaid did it without breaking a sweat. where this mixer is most like a hobart is in this. it will turn that dough without any hint of motor lag. it just motors right through it. there's no drop in RPMs, nothing.

it fits nicely under the cabinets above, and the red looks great against the cherry cabinets.

the finish does not scratch easily, and is very easy to clean. the dough hook works a lot better than the older style dough hook. the bowl is very nicely made of thick steel. my only issue with that is that i'd have liked if they included the open handle bowl with the machine. as it stands the bowl is not able to be stacked easily, due to the full D shaped handle.

overall i've had a fantastic experience with this mixer. i feel like it cannot be beat for the price. it's nowhere near as much as a tank as the hobart N50, but that mixer is also for commercial kitchens, and costs 2000 dollars vs. the kitchenaids under 600. in my opinion this is the best mixer you can buy for the money anywhere. it is leaps and bounds better than the 5qt and pro 600 mixers, which dont, or didn't have metal gearing, as well as have a tendency to overheat when doing large batches of dough. this mixer will take anything you can throw at it and will not lug at all. it's a great design by kitchenaid.

Bissell BigGreen Commercial Upright Deep Cleaner BG10

Bissell BigGreen Commercial Upright Deep Cleaner BG10 Review

First, I'd like to clear up some of the confusion about the two Big Green Machine models. The BG10, this model, is considered a light commercial-grade machine. The 863T is considered a "pro" home model. Here are the key differences: The BG10 comes with separate motors to drive its suction and cleaning roller/brush in a powerful, smooth fashion. The 86 has one motor. The 86, as someone else noted, has a considerably longer warranty: five years vs. one year. I think that is because a commercial-rated machine is expected to receive much heavier use. The 86 comes with a hose and small cleaner head attachment for upholstery and stairs; I have seen the BG10 sold with and without the upholstery gear. The BG10 is more expensive, but I was able to pick one up online for just $10 more than Amazon's asking price for the lighter-grade machine. The model I bought does not have the hose and upholstery head, but they can be rented for a few dollars at Lowe's or purchased separately (part B-30G3). Now for BG10 performance: As others have said, the cleaning results this model achieves are impressive. I cleaned two bedrooms and attached walk-in closets, pulling out an incredible amount of gunk and dirt. I used Bissell/Woolite 2X pet solution, but I'm sure other solutions would work just as well. I still had about three-fourths of the Woolite bottle left at the end of the job. The machine is easy to use and easy to clean, with 1.75-gallon separate containers for clean and dirty water that lift off and realign without hassles. This is a big improvement over the lesser carpet cleaners I have seen that use one container and a hard-to-clean bladder for dirty water. With the clean water container fully filled, I was able to clean a small guest bedroom and attached walk-in without refilling the container. It takes no more than two minutes to prep the machine for use, and if you run into problems, quick instructions are attached right on the machine. I found the BG10 easy to maneuver in the bedrooms, but ran into trouble when I tried to turn it inside the two closets. In retrospect, I probably should have cleaned the main rooms first, let them dry and then attacked the closets when the clean water container was mostly empty. The BG10 is rated as putting out about half the water the Rug Doctor rentals dispense, and I could tell that as I cleaned in my socks; they never became truly soaked, and the carpets dried quickly. I like the ergonomics of the machine, with the adjustable handle height. You can clean several rooms without getting a back ache. The machine has large, rubber-covered rear wheels that allow you to move from room to room without much effort, even with a full load of water. I do have a minor suggestion: the trigger on the right handle that dispenses cleaning solution should have a lock for use during long stretches. When I was done, the BG10 folded down for easy storage inside a closet. This is a great machine if you don't want to deal with rental cleaners but still seek good results. I find it a big advantage that I can clean 1-2 rooms then come back days or weeks later and clean a few more without feeling under the gun of the one- or two-day rental deals. I paid $480, but since we plan to use the machine in a large main house, a rental townhouse and perhaps my son's house, I felt the expense was justified.

More than a mixer, this is a kitchen machine, the latest innovation from Bosch, which introduced the first model in 1951. Planetary gearing (think 9th grade astronomy mobiles) moves the whisks an dough hook accessories in an elliptical motion ensuring that every area of the mixing bowl is reached. The result? Smooth batter and consistent dough. Those with limited counter space will appreciate the compact size of this multi-function appliance which carries a full range of accessories.

Bosch Compact Mixer mum4405 Review

First I must say that Bosch's customer service is the worst I have ever seen or dealt with. They are rude and demeaning but if you never have to deal with them then this product is a joy to own and use.
It is the best thing in my kitchen. It is the very best mixer I have ever had or used and that has been plenty because I am getting up in years. This mixer out does even my Kitchen Aid by lots and it looks great on my counter. I gave away the Kitchen Aid.
It is not just a mixer because it has many attachments and that turns it into a blender, a grain & meat grinder, a cookie press, a shreeder, food processor, a berry press and on and on. You do not need to have all those other things sitting all over your kitchen taking up space because this does it all.
You might be thinking that you have tried those machines that claim to do it all but because they try to do it all they do not do anything well. That is not the case here. It really does do it all and does it better!!
I cook and bake all the time and holidays are special at my home because of all the great smells that come out of my kitchen so I need not good but great appliances. This is a great one and it saves me so much time. Its has plenty of power to handle anything I have asked it to do.
I recommend it highly but I would rather jump off a cliff then to deal with the company or their customer service.

It offers a unique combination of air treatment technologies to make you and your family more comfortable, whatever the season. Bacteria, germs, mold spores, pollen, pet dander, smoke, dust and odors can make breathing harder, especially for asthma and allergy sufferers. This filter system plus the revolutionary Plasmacluster Ion Technology for air purifiers makes the air healthier and cleaner smelling. This combination of features is a smart way to choose cleaner, healthier, more breathable air.

Sharp KC-860U Plasmacluster air purifier Review

I bought this to deal with cat litter dust in a small apartment. I was hesitant to purchase this due to the high price and bad past experiences with other air cleaner products (noisy, poor quality) years ago, but have had good experiences with Sharp plasmacluster technology built-in to late-model Toyota/Lexus vehicles, so I decided to take a chance. The unit is very stylish (more-so than the pictures would indicate) and seems well constructed. It's assembled in China by Sharp.

The fan is very quiet on the lowest setting, which was important to me as the unit will run continuously. The electronic dust sensor is phenomenal. It really does detect dust in the air that's too small to see. I have the machine 6 feet from my cat's litter box, and within a minute of my cleaning the cat's mess from the litter box, the Sharp's sensor display changes from green to orange and then red, and the fan kicks into high gear. After a few minutes of cleaning the air, the display returns to green and the fan slows to its normal quiet speed. The display is actually entertaining to look at -- it comprises four vertical plus/star icons that can change color and/or blink softly to indicate various amounts of contaminants in the air. To allow tailoring of the sensor to one's environment, it's sensitivity can be set to any of three settings (low, med, high), to either increase or decrease the amount of contaminants required to make the machine increase fan speed. It is also possible to manually set the fan speed. The front panel indicator lights can be dimmed or shut off for nighttime use in bedrooms. One benefit of the contaminant sensor display is that it enables optimal placement of the machine to filter the air -- simply place the machine in various locations, note the site at which the sensor indicates highest contaminant level, and place the unit there.

The plasmacluster feature is very quiet; a soft clicking can be heard only if one puts their head to the machine. It can be disabled, for those who may be anxious about potential health risks. From what I've seen researching the potential health effects online, there are no scientifically valid explanations of actual health risks from plasmacluster. The feature is supposed to kill germs in the air, and as my primary purpose of this unit is to clean the dust/smell of cat litter from the air, I am glad to have the feature.

This unit is fairly compact - about the height of a dehumidifier but a bit skinnier. Although the instructions state to place the unit 1-2 feet from the wall for optimal air flow (intake vents are on rear, output vent is on top), I have found the unit performs fine when even when only about 8 inches from the wall.

An added bonus of this unit is it has a humidifier built in, along with a digital humidity read-out, reducing the number of space consuming appliances required in wintertime.

The HEPA filter is rated to last 5 years, so hopefully consumables will not be overly expensive.

The instruction manual is well-written and easy to follow. All in all, an excellent product!
