I regularly use a variety of stones, diamond hones, etc. in my little sharpening business. In my opinion this is the best system out there for fine blades. The level of precision and control is unmatched.

If you sharpen damaged or super blunt knives, get the 50/80 coarse hones as well. They are invaluable for reprofiling.

Note that the diamond hones need some break in to remove loose diamond residue before they allow you to get a mirror edge.
