I was not able to use this unit effectively. The suction cups kept coming up regardless of what type of desktop surface I attempted to mount it on. Also the fact that I could not mount/fasten the knife made sharpening a challenge. For these reasons I had to return it. Edge Pro and the company I bought it from were great about the return and gave me a full refund. It is plastic so the overall quality is questionable. I am sure with a little more patience I may have been able to learn how to use it.
