I've had two of these so far.. They work great, noisy as all get-out, but die after about two years.. So get the extended warranty, so when it breaks and nobody can economically fix it, you get your money back from the warranty company. Then you can get a new one.. And do it again.. It uses a regular refrigerator-type ice maker, but for some reason makes six times the ice as the one in my refrigerator, and in the same room.. Other than the noise, and short life-span, it's great.. Oh, it's not frost-free, so you'll have shut it off and defrost it during the high humidity season.

I did a lot of research on these before deciding on this fantastic machine. Trust me, you can look a long time and not find anything close to this value at this price point or even one much, much higher. Highly recommend for that finishing touch on your home theater.

Pros:
- 3 switches for power (1 kettle stirrer, 1 heating lamp/under carriage heating element and 1 for kettle heat). This will add a lot of life to your machine!
- Large 8 ounce kettle pops plenty of corn for a family of 4 or use a smaller portion (or portion pack) for movie night with your spouse.
- EASY assembly and very mobile. Essentially it comes in 4 pieces, the main unit, the cart and a couple of tires. It took longer to get rid of the boxes than to assemble it. We have actually wheeled this out in front of the house so my son can sell popcorn and lemonade, its that mobile.
- Storage cabinet holds a lot of supplies

Cons:
- A bit on the messy side. The side windows need to be wiped down every couple of uses but a paper towel usually does the trick.
- Metal popcorn scoop handle came off after a few weeks, but its easily glued back on.
- Makes my wife want to eat a lot of popcorn. Seriously....

From the time you decide to have popcorn to actually having the popcorn is less than 5 minutes. I recommend the popcorn packs but also look for other coconut oil packs for popcorn machines and "Flavacol" for that true theater taste. Everyone who sees the machine and has the popcorn wants one of there own!

The ice maker in our fridge is SMALL. With family living close, we were always running out of ice quickly. This meant a trip just for ice. When we had family & friends we needed 2 coolers just to hold ice! I read so many reviews on several different ice makers & decided to try this particular one. Wow! This thing is absolutely GREAT. Took it out of the box, plugged it in, ran 3 cycles of vinegar water, then just plain water to remove the plastic smell. Then, let it run. It has run almost 24 hrs a day since the day after arrival & puts out ice like crazy. In fact, we have extra ice in the freezer now, & have not run out of ice the NewAir makes & no need to use the extra ice we had bagged from it. At first it seems like a large footprint on the counter, but I would not give it up for the small area it takes from the counter. If I need the counter space for holidays, I would simply put it on a small wood "tv tray style" table. No one is taking my ice maker! One of the best, most convenient, 24 hr useful, worth-it-for-the-money purchases I have made.

Our last microwave failed to heat food after about 3 years of use. I spent a day and a half reading reviews before purchasing a new microwave. This is the microwave i found to have the least amount of negative reviews and numerous positive reviews as well. Microwave looks and works great right out of the box. Packaging was easy to break down for recycling (yay!) Microwave has performed as expected, I really like the instant on controls. You can even set the kitchen timer while the microwave is cooking, That feature works out great for us as we don't have a full kitchen. I am very happy with this microwave so far and would recommend it to family and friends. I will update in the future in regards to longevity if any part of this microwave fails. So far it just works great and we are very happy with it.

Miele S8380 Cat & Dog Canister Vacuum Review

Purchased this vacuum about four weeks ago. I have a Kirby as well. With two dogs and three cats, I vacuum daily. I have everything from wall to wall, wool area rugs, synthetic area rugs, hardwood floors and upholstery to keep up with. Love the Kirby, but it can be a bit unwieldy especially as an every day appliance. Decided to give this vacuum a try. It has become my primary vacuum very quickly. The powered floor and upholstery brushes make picking everything up very simple. It is easy to tote around up and down stairs, and the on board tools are easily accessible. It cleans everything very well, easily moving between the different surfaces. The only complaint I have is that the bags are somewhat small, and I find myself replacing the bag at a frequency of at least one bag per week.
