The Oransi was at the top of a list we found when researching the best air purifiers. We hadn't heard of the brand before but took a chance. It had everything we wanted: a tower model with a HEPA filter, advertised to be quiet, it also had the additional feature of a UV light that also kills bacteria. There is a secondary filter system, above and beyond the HEPA that you can wash regugularly as well.
So far we like it alot. Fan settings number 1 & 2 are quiet. #3 is definitely audible. The air in the room has a very clean feel and smell to it after the purifier has been on for only a few minutes). We recommend it!
