Product Description

Featuring all-metal construction, the NuTone Deluxe ironing board provides years of dependable use. Its ventilated design is resistant to moisture and cools quickly. The non-stick ironing board cover fits snuggly over the board and secures with a drawstring. With three height settings and 180-Degree swivel, the board can be adjusted for optimum ironing comfort and fits in tight corners for additional ergonomic benefit. This unit installs as a recess or surface mount (mounting collar sold separately). A tall, deep storage area provides room to store spray bottles, starch and other items. The Deluxe model allows you to select either a NuTone custom door (sold separately) or create a door to match your own woodwork. Magnetic catches keep the door securely closed and neatly in place. Door hinges included with each ironing center provide a left or right mounting. The timer has a pilot light to visibly show when you have turned the power "on". The built-in 40 watt light provides functional lighting behind a shielded cover. And, the auto shut-off ensures electric supply is turned off when the door is closed. Ironing hardly seems like a chore when you have a NuTone Built-In Ironing Center.

I wanted to post a review of this product after reading the only other 1-star review--I installed this recently into my master bedroom and absolutely love it! The deluxe model is the ONLY way to go in my opinion. I have a large Sun-Beam multi-function steam/spray iron (model # 48Z6 E91117 series L 4239-000) which does fit with proper placement in the ironing center.

PROs

> built in power outlet
> pilot light indicating power
> close door cutoff switch (turns power off to the outlet when board is up and door is closed)
> 60 minute spring wound timer that controls the powered outlet
> very bright light with frosted diffuser
> 2 nice shelfs for storage (3 if you count the bottom of the cabinet as a shelf)
> the ironing board pivots in the middle rotating from perpendicular to parallel with the wall.
> the board has 3 height positions raising or lowering the board

CONs

> the board has to be set to the lowest or middle position for the door to close
> with my iron it HAS to be at the lowest position for the door to close.

The only reason I am giving this a 4-star review is because the board has to be at the lowest or the middle position for it to close.

Otherwise this is built very solid and easy to install--it makes ironing a breeze and very convenient. I will upload some photos soon

Upgrading from 4 to 5 stars because of how simple it is a task to iron clothes--I love my deluxe ironing center! It is such a convenience...Anyway I finally added some pictures to the customer images---I told you I would :)
