This thing works great, but understand what you are getting. This is NOT one of those ozone air cleaners that they sell in the upscale yuppie stores ... five minutes in the room with this thing running, and you can no longer breath. This is an industrial scale ozone generator, designed to kill every organic particle it can get to. I use it in my boat, to keep the mold and mildew down, but you can only run it for about four hours (it has a timer), so I turn it on when I leave, and when I come back the next weekend, I still have to let the cabin air out for a while. The only problem is, I've noticed some of the plastic and rubber items in my boat starting to degrade prematurely, so be careful how often you use it, or maybe you shouldn't leave the area sealed up and full of ozone for a week at time like I do.

Addendum: I've been using mine for over a year, and it's still going strong. A while back it wouldn't turn on one day, and I thought "that's it, it finally died, as others have described", but it turned out to be very simple. There is a safety interlock switch, inside the front cover, to insure that you can't expose yourself to extremely high voltage by turning it on with the cover removed. The little plastic tab that engages the safety switch, just barley engages it, so over time it failed to connect. I put a small dab of RTV Silicon adhesive on the top of that push button switch, let it harden, and that added enough height to the switch, to insure that it fully engages every time ... no problem.
